The Bangladesh Nursing and Midwifery Council announced the Nursing Admission Circular on 11 February 2026 for the 2025–26 academic year. The circular covers admission for B.Sc in Nursing, Diploma in Nursing Science and Midwifery, and Diploma in Midwifery under a single, unified admission system.

According to the official schedule, the online application process starts on 13 February 2026 and remains open until 12 March 2026. Applicants must complete payment of the application fee no later than 13 March 2026. Only candidates who meet the specified eligibility conditions will be allowed to apply through the online portal.

Private Nursing Colleges (BNMC Approved)

Applicants must be Bangladeshi citizens and must have completed SSC and HSC (or equivalent) examinations within the specified years. Different academic criteria apply depending on the selected program.

B.Sc in Nursing Eligibility

Candidates must have passed SSC and HSC examinations in the Science group. A minimum combined GPA of 7.00 is required, with no exam GPA below 3.00. Additionally, Biology must have a GPA of at least 3.00 in both SSC and HSC.

Diploma in Nursing Science and Midwifery

Applicants from any academic group may apply. The required combined GPA is 6.00, and no individual exam GPA may be below 2.50.

Diploma in Midwifery

Candidates from any group are eligible if their total GPA is at least 6.00, with a minimum GPA of 2.50 in each exam. Any result below this threshold is not accepted.

All applications must be submitted through the official BNMC admission portal.

After submission, candidates must pay the application fee within 72 hours.

Payment must be completed through a Teletalk prepaid SIM using SMS. Applicants receive a User ID after submission. The first SMS must include the User ID sent to 16222, followed by a confirmation PIN. A second SMS is then sent using that PIN to complete payment. Upon success, login credentials are issued for admit card download.

Admit cards can be downloaded using the provided User ID and password from the official portal. Each admit card clearly mentions the exam center name, address, and seat details. Candidates must attend the exam only at the assigned center.
